Planet Embroidery for iPhone (iPE) is the first embroidery application for mobile devices created Sierra Technology Group. This free application produces embroidery designs for embroidery machines in several embroidery machine file formats and if your embroidery format is not included, you will be able to later convert the created design using other standard applications such as Stitch Era Universal.

iPE allows you to create text designs pre-digitized fonts, select the size, density and underlay. iPE sends those designs (attached) by e-mail to your e-mail account. Then you just have to save them (from the computer) on the appropriate media for your embroidery machine. No need to learn about digitizing. Creation of embroidery designs with your custom text requires a few simple steps. iPE uses some Internet services to process each design request, then it requires an Internet connection to run it.

Expanded Editing

The pre-existing embroidery designs can be modified easily, not only when trying to correct it, but when making a new design with other shapes and features as well.

Even stock designs can be edited with powerful tools that automatically recognize sections according to their features.

There are several ways to change the color sequence. Probably the quickest way will be dragging the listed colors on the navigation bar.

Graphic Files

The design creation can start from scanned images, bitmap files and vector files. Importing from other graphic application (ex. Corel) speeds up the creation job.

Wireframe Editing

The properties of each of the design’s sections can be easily modified to adequate to each project’s taste and needs.

There are several ways of changing the object sequence of a design, for example from the tree view, by color, by index, etc.

When several sections are connected in a branch, the system will intelligently choose the stitch order to reduce the visible passes between sections.

Object grouping allows a quicker block edition, when the work requires the combination of design parts.

Digitizing Methods & Objects

The interactive auto-digitizing converts automatically images and graphic files into embroidery designs, at the same time it allows you to assign them different characteristics.

Choose from the different available stitches to create your embroidery design. Each stitch type has properties that may be changed according to the needs.
